For many years Ramon was a professional sidecar specialist. In his adventure of being a sidecar specialist he reached the top and became World Champion. After this achievement Ramon decided it was time to find a new challenge. After riding dirt bikes a few years he decided to move on to the ATV class. Right from the beginning he felt very comfortable on 4 wheels so in his first year he became 2nd in the Dutch Championship. In 2008 he became Dutch Champion and now he will defend his title. Besides this he will also race in the European Championship in 2009.
